Various methods and time periods are under consideration to determine allocation between the recreataional and commercial sectors for select south Florida species. Below is a summary table (Table 1) with the historical catch (percentage), of allocation by sector for three species (Black Grouper, Mutton Snapper, Yellowtail Snapper), region (Gulf of Mexico, U.S. South Atlantic), and method (bowtie, mean 2009-2013, mean 2004 - 2013). In total, this considers 27 options. Historical landings, by species, sector, and region are presented in Figures 1-6. Method "3a" uses the bowtie approach, method "3b" uses the mean landings from 2009 through 2013, and method "3c" uses the mean landings from 2004 through 2013. Exploratory analyses of commercial (Table 2) and recreational data (Table 3) are available using 'pivot' tables.
